What's new for 2022

We listened to feedback from our guests and have made some changes around how to access our on park swimming, activities and entertainment, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to have a brilliant holiday in 2022.

  • We have removed the need to pre-book entertainment, so you can now just turn up and enjoy the show!

  • We have also made restaurant tables, activities and swimming slots available to pre-book from up to 4 weeks before your break.

  • Arrive and swim in our outdoor pools* all day and in our indoor pools after 6pm** with no need to book. For indoor swimming pre-6pm you can book slots before and during your stay.

*Outdoor pools, and some SplashZones and Lazy Rivers, are open between 11 April - 30 September only, weather permitting.

**Applies to weekends, bank holidays and school holidays only.

Planning your break

  • Up to 4 weeks before your break
    The countdown begins! For those of you who love to plan, you can start pre-booking activities, tables in our restaurants and up to 14 swim sessions per break, 4 weeks before your break.

  • You'll have access to book activities, swim sessions and restaurant tables via haven.com/experience. Here, you will also be able to view the entertainment schedule for your park.

  • 1 week before your break start date
    Your arrival time will be confirmed on haven.com/experience

  • 1 day before your break start date
    Your location on park will confirmed on haven.com/experience if you have not previously chosen your location via Choose Your Holiday Home.

We'll email the lead booker so please look out for email reminders nearer to the time of your break.

Don't worry, we will send you email reminders at each step before your break. Plus, we'll be sending you lots more exciting, need-to-know info, so be sure to keep an eye on your inbox.

If you don't pre-book your experiences before your holiday, you will be able to book whilst on holiday too.

Booking activities

  • Pre-book free activities and ones you'll need to pay a little extra for, up to 4 weeks before your break*

  • Activities can also be booked whilst you're on holiday, but we recommend booking ahead for anything you're sure you want to try

  • Within 7 days of your break, you can pre-book activities from 1pm onwards for any activities you'd like to do on your arrival day and up until 4pm for your departure day. Should you book before your arrival time, your activity may get cancelled

Please note: you'll be able to book activities for the first day of your break via the Activity Booking Point on park once you've checked in (subject to availability).

Booking swimming sessions

We know that swimming is one of our most popular activities for our guests so we have introduced thousands more swimming slots this year and are offering the choice of both turn up and swim options and pre-bookable swimming slots.

  • There is no booking required for anyone wanting to swim in our standalone outdoor pools*, or for those swimming indoors after 6pm**.

  • You'll be able to pre-book* up to 14 pre-6pm indoor swim slots per holiday booking from 4 weeks before your break start date and throughout your entire stay with us on park. Each swim slot lasts for 60 minutes.

Booking a restaurant table / ordering a takeaway / visiting the supermarket

Restaurants

  • Make a restaurant table reservation up to 4 weeks before your break*

  • You can also book tables whilst on holiday and there is no need to book outdoor dining, simply turn up and we'll try and get you seated

Please note: We are able to seat up to eight guests to a table on our booking system. If you are a larger party, please book a table of eight to start with and then contact the park directly to add more people.

*Please note: There is currently a national shortage of selected food and drink products across the restaurants on our parks. This may mean we are unable to serve some items off our menu. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Takeaways

  • For those that want a break from cooking, you can order a tasty takeaway on the Haven Serve app*

*The Haven Serve app is available to download via Google Play and the App Store .

Supermarkets

  • All our parks have handy on-site supermarkets with a wide range of Co-op products on offer including a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan and free from products

  • Keep a look out for locally sourced products and firm family favourites on our shelves

  • Our Breakfast Packs and Grocery Starter Packs are available to purchase as an 'add on' in My Account and will be delivered straight to your holiday home, ready for your arrival. For more information on costs and what's included in each pack, please see our FAQs

Entertainment

  • If you want to catch some entertainment, just turn up as there is no need to pre-book. You will need your Play Passes to access the venue

  • Check out our entertainment schedules* up to 4 weeks before your break to find out what's on (please note: schedules are subject to change)

Arcades

  • We all know arcades and the seaside go hand in hand, but please be aware that some of our parks now have cashless arcades. This means loading money onto a Playcard which can then be used in the arcade

  • Cashless arcades are available at Church Farm, Quay West, Wild Duck, Golden Sands, Perran Sands and Burnham-on-Sea

What to bring

The lead-up to your holiday is always exciting and we don't want you to forget anything, so here's a little checklist:

  • Washing-up bits; cloth/sponge, washing-up liquid and hand wash

  • Tea towels, oven gloves, kitchen roll, kitchen foil to wrap and store food

  • Plastic plates, cups and cutlery if you have young children

  • Towels (towels will be supplied in Silver, Gold and Signature models)

  • Toilet rolls, toiletries and a bath mat

  • Hairdryer (a hairdryer will be supplied in Silver, Gold and Signature models)

  • Tea bags/coffee, squash, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, oil - these are also all available in our on-site Mini Market

  • Your favourite DVDs. (A DVD player is included in the following accommodation: Caravans: Silver, Gold, Signature. Lodges: Luxury. Chalets: Comfort Plus. Apartments: Comfort with Veranda)

Don't worry, if you forget any of the essentials you can always pop into our supermarket and stock up. We also have a range of hire goods available if you can't squeeze everything into your car including travel cots, towels and high-chairs.

Getting ready for your arrival

  • Please look out for emails from us which will include details of the check-in process you need to follow before you arrive

  • It's really important we have the best email and mobile number for you to make sure we can keep you updated about your arrival. You can always update your details by visiting My Account

  • To get everything ready for your arrival, you will be asked to confirm how you are getting to the park and to add your car registration if you are driving by logging into haven.com/experience. This speeds up the arrival process and helps you to start your break sooner

  • Your arrival slot will be available on haven.com/experience 7 days before your arrival date and your exact location on park will be available one day before

Check in

5 tips for a smooth arrival

  1. Before you start your journey, use the My Haven app* or log in to haven.com/experience

    to view and save your personalised map to navigate to your holiday home on park.

  2. You can arrive up to 2 hours before their designated arrival time, but no earlier than 11am (if you have a 12pm-1pm designated check-in, you can only arrive 1 hour before your arrival time)

If you arrive early, you'll have access to use the restaurants, arcades, shops and have free roam of outdoor spaces on their parks. Please note: your accommodation can only be accessed at your designated arrival time. If you've booked a Haven break, you can pick up your Play Passes from inside your accommodation at your designated arrival time.

3. Stay in your vehicle when you get to the park entrance and show the Haven team member your arrival pass on your phone (or a screenshot) through the window.

4. When you get to your holiday home it will be sealed – break the seal and you will find your keys inside.

5. Get settled in, take a good look around and rate the cleanliness of your holiday home on the My Haven app* or via haven.com/experience

Please note: Please do not arrive any earlier than two hours before your allocated arrival time (reminder: 12pm-1pm check-in can only arrive 1 hour before their arrival time), as you may be asked to leave the park and return during your allocated time slot in order to help keep other guests safe and secure.

*The My Haven app is available to download on via Google Play or App Store .

Choose Your Holiday Home

Choose Your Holiday Home gives you the option to pick your location and exact holiday home on park, before you arrive, from £30*.

It is available for the majority of Haven guests, however we're unfortunately unable to offer it on the following bookings:

  • 7-night bookings arriving on a Saturday

  • A booking of more than 7-nights

  • 3rd Party bookings

  • Groups

View your options by logging in to My Account, click on 'see details' and if your break qualifies for Choose Your Holiday Home, it will be listed in 'extras for you'. All that's left to do is to click to choose and book the van of your choice.

Should you enter your caravan and find it not cleaned to the high levels that we expect then please make contact with a member of our park team.

Please note: if the seal on your caravan is broken when you arrive, please do not enter and contact a member of the park team immediately who will be able to assist you.

Check out

On the day of departure we ask that all our guests leave their holiday homes by 10am and drop their keys to their accommodation into the buckets provided on the way out. We want guests to be able to make the most of their time away with us and you are welcome to use the park facilities on your departure day for any bookings such as activities, swimming and restaurants. However, the last activity or table booking you should make is for 4pm.

RNLI water safety

At Haven, we're proud to be partnered with the RNLI. Many of the 238 lifeboat stations around the UK are right next to our parks, meaning their crews are on standby should any of our guests ever find themselves struggling out at sea. Government guidelines

The situation around the Coronavirus pandemic is constantly changing and Government restrictions will differ across our parks from time to time. Please be familiar with the current restrictions in the area from which you are travelling and in the area you are travelling to, and follow all the directions given by the Government including social distancing and who we can meet etc.
